iPad Case Review:
The CandyShell iPad Case itself is well constructed, featuring a high-gloss black plastic shell that features all of the necessary pass-throughs and button extensions to maintain full functionality of the iPad, including the built-in speaker, headphone jack, orientation lock switch, power button, and volume controls. What is most notably lacking is a pass-through for the sync cable. The fold-back panel door for dock syncing gives users full access to the port, but if you don't use a dock, it's kind of an unnecessary hassle. It would have been far more convenient to provide a pass-through on the pop-out panel as well. The lack of a screen cover of some kind could be a problem for some, but given the scratch-resistant nature of the iPad's hardened glass screen, it isn't entirely necessary.
